The 40/40 vision
If you eat three meals a day, you go through 93 meals plus 30-60 snacks a month (if not more). To be the healthiest version of yourself, you need to aim for 80 excellent meals that are high in nutrient dense veges and low in refined carbs or sugar.
You can’t expect to be healthy if you live on bread, cereals, pap, sugar and processed food. In order to avoid defaulting to these foods, it is essential to plan ahead.
Follow our #EatClean ethos and make sure you always have access to good, healthy food. If you have a busy month ahead, buy more FitChef meals; if you have more free time, then cook more. Either way, you need to find a balance that will give you at least 80 wholesome meals a month. You can cook them all, buy 80 FitChef meals or take the middle road: buy 40 and make 40.
Kidney failure occurs when your kidneys lose the ability to filter waste from your blood sufficiently. In most cases, kidney failure is caused by other acute or chronic health problems, such as diabetes or high blood pressure that has done permanent damage (harm) to your kidneys little by little, over time.
Yeah! 21 Days – done and dusted. You did it. Whether you succeeded in making your 21 Day Challenge 100% #EatClean, or you cracked and had that sugary chocolate (or two), you’ve made it through to start a new habit: healthy eating.
Don’t outsource responsibility for your health. Take charge of your life. Trust your gut (pun intended). There is a lot of wisdom and a lot of rubbish out there. Do your own research, learn from many different sources of information – look for research that provides both sides of the story and use what works for your body. Discard the rest.
